Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or calling the Memuron API, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any organization you represent. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you're agreeing for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

The service

Memuron is a memory layer for AI agents — an API, an MCP server, and a managed graph store that ingests, deduplicates, and retrieves memories on your behalf. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves. We'll give reasonable notice before removing functionality you depend on.

Accounts & access

You're responsible for your account, your API keys, and all activity under them. Keep your credentials secret — treat keys like passwords. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 and not barred from using the service under applicable law.

Acceptable use

Don't use Memuron to:

• Break the law, infringe others' rights, or store data you have no right to process.
• Attack, probe, or overload the service, or circumvent rate limits and tenant boundaries.
• Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement.

We may suspend access to protect the service or other customers, with notice where practical.

Your data & content

You own the content you ingest. You grant us a limited license to process it solely to operate the service for you — nothing more. We don't sell your content or train foundation models on it. Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

Plans & billing

Paid plans are billed based on usage — what you store and ingest — as described on the pricing page. Fees are charged in advance or in arrears depending on the plan, are non-refundable except where required by law, and exclude taxes. We'll give advance notice of price changes; continued use after a change means you accept it. The free tier is provided as-is and may change.

Availability

We work hard to keep Memuron fast and available, but the service is provided without an uptime guarantee unless your plan includes a written SLA. We may perform maintenance and will aim to minimize disruption. Enterprise customers can request a dedicated SLA.

Warranty & liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent allowed, Memuron is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can stop using Memuron and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we'll delete your data per the Privacy Policy retention schedule. Sections that by nature should survive — ownership, liability, and these survival terms — will.
